Episode 6
Truly A ‘True Colors’ Shopper

In the previous episode, the shoppers – Swing, Chai, Iva and Teo were asked to dress out of the box and prove that they are Truly a “Wild” Shopper. The judges even chose a wig for each of them to inspire their “alter egos”. Iva surfaced as the challenge winner for pulling off her “ginger-haired Marilyn Monroe” persona. Chai and Teo sunk to the bottom two but the judges surprised everyone by allowing three shoppers to compete at the final round; in the end it was Teo who got the wildcard, and Chai eliminated.

This week, as their 6th challenge, the final 3 – Iva, Swing and Teo are asked to shop for their “true colours” at Pavilion. With RM500 in hand, each will have to assemble an outfit that truly represents them, which they will reveal at the results party in Celsius, Fahrenheit 88 and reunite with the previous 9 shoppers. Who will the judges choose to become Malaysia’s Truly A Shopper?

Episode 5
Truly A ‘Wild’ Shopper

In the previous episode, the shoppers took Sunway Pyramid, where they were asked to draw 3 occasions from the Truly A Shopper Jar and look for the perfect gifts to suit them, be it for a farewell party, a wedding, Mother’s Day, a 13-year old’s birthday or a festive holiday. Iva surfaced as the challenge winner while the judges decided that it was time for Ahlam and Jen Nie to leave. This week, the remaining shoppers – Iva, Teo, Chai and Swing compete for the final two spots on the show. The challenge? To dress out of the box and prove that they are Truly a “Wild” Shopper. This week: Iva, Swing, Ahlam, Teo, Chai and Jen Nie take Sunway Pyramid. This week, at Fahrenheit 88, the eight remaining shoppers – Jen Nie, Chai, Ahlam, Khairul, Swing, Iva, Teo and Nurul are about to be surprised again as they will not only be shopping with another partner for the second time, but they will have to shop for each other. This round takes place in Berjaya Times Square, where they are asked to shop for outfits for a beach holiday, namely one for ‘Sightseeing’ and one for ‘Dinner’. Who will surface as the best this week and who will be the next two eliminated from the contest?

Episode 1
Truly A Practical Shopper

Hundreds of self-proclaimed fashionistas and shopaholics came forth to the Truly A Shopper audition to prove that they have what it takes to bag it all in Malaysia’s first reality show on shopping, but only 12 Shoppers are chosen by the judges and Malaysia as true retail “spokespersons” who fit the bill. For their first challenge, the Shoppers are given the ‘Practical’ task of searching for an outfit in Bukit Bintang’s Pavilion, fit for both day and night. But the task will come with a twist… and a tight budget. Only 10 Shoppers will remain at the end of the episode as decided by the judges, and 2 will have to say goodbye to a chance of winning RM10,000 cash, RM5,000 worth of prizes and the title – Truly A Shopper!
